Entry Level Sales for Safety Company

Overview
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Sales Representative to support the growth of our safety and rescue solutions business within the Oil & Gas and Construction industries. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a long-term career in industrial sales, develop strong customer relationships, and grow into an outside sales or account management position.
You will work closely with experienced sales and operations team members to learn our products, services, and customer needs while helping drive new business and maintain existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Construction markets
- Support lead generation through outbound calls, emails, site visits, and networking
- Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and pricing for customers
- Follow up on leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, safety managers, and site supervisors
- Serve as a point of contact for customer questions related to products, services, and delivery
- Help ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with operations and support teams
Product & Industry Knowledge
- Learn and effectively communicate our safety and rescue products and services
- Develop a working knowledge of OSHA and industry safety requirements
- Stay informed on customer jobsite needs, project timelines, and compliance expectations
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in the CRM system
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics
- Assist with sales reports, forecasts, and account documentation
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in sales
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and in person
- Basic computer skills (email, CRM, spreadsheets, documents)
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas, Construction, or safety-related industries
- Mechanical or technical aptitude
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
- Base salary: $55,000 – $65,000 depending on experience
