Custodian (Full Time) - Houston, TX

A&C Plastics is seeking a Full-Time Custodian for our two-story office building (approximately 37,000 square feet of space).

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

COMPENSATION: $15 per hour, depending on experience (with benefits)

WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE:

• Responsible for daily upkeep of the property & grounds (includes cleaning, & removing trash/debris)
• Ensure parking lot, warehouse, bathrooms, lunchrooms, conference rooms, & other common spaces are clean, neat, & free of debris
• Responsible for the care, maintenance, & inventory of all cleaning supplies & equipment
• Vacuum, sweep, spot treat, & mop all floors in entire building
• Clean, sanitize & stock all restrooms. 
• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by removing trash, tidying furniture, & dusting surfaces
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
• Maintain air filters & clean air vents as needed
• Clean interior windows throughout the building
• Inform Management of repairs, issues, & cleaning supply purchases
• Be aware of & operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards & company safety policies at all times
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of proven working experience as a Commercial Cleaner 
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals & supplies
• Integrity & reliability
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English)
