The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Consultant to lead research that informs marketing and communications strategy. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who enjoys owning projects end to end, translating complex data into insight, and acting as a trusted thought partner to clients.
You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to design and execute research, deliver strategic recommendations, and help ensure our work drives real-world decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead communications research initiatives, including quantitative, qualitative, measurement, and secondary research
- Own projects from design through delivery, providing strategic counsel to clients
- Translate market and audience data into clear, actionable insights and narratives
- Conduct audience intelligence work such as social and digital landscape analysis, sentiment analysis, keyword research, and competitive benchmarking (e.g., share of voice, message pull-through)
- Build measurement frameworks, dashboards, and client-facing reports
- Lead client conversations around analytics, performance, and optimization opportunities
- Stay current on emerging research tools and methodologies, recommending new approaches where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6–8 years of experience in research, analytics, or communications (agency or in-house)
- Experience developing measurement plans and evaluating marketing or communications performance
- Strong working knowledge of social listening and media intelligence platforms (e.g., Cision, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater)
- Comfort working with complex data sets, Boolean logic, and integrated analytics workflows
- Experience with statistical tools such as Q, SPSS, R, or Python is a plus
- Ability to synthesize data into insights that inform strategy and decision-making
- Strong project management skills and comfort juggling multiple client engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
