Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Sales Operations Analyst for a large, established client operating at scale within the retail energy sector. This role supports a high-volume broker channel that represents a significant share of contracted revenue and margin. The position partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Channel Operations to ensure accurate broker onboarding, commission processing, and reporting while contributing analytical insights that inform leadership decisions. This opportunity is well suited for a detail-oriented operations professional who thrives in data-rich environments and values process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support broker commission processing and payment operations with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review broker agreements and assist with vetting, contracting, onboarding, and lifecycle support.
  • Maintain sales, financial, and ad hoc reports for Sales Leadership, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform operational analysis on large datasets to resolve broker issues and evaluate KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to reporting, systems, automation, and process improvement initiatives supporting channel growth.
  • Assist with documentation updates including SOPs, onboarding materials, and lifecycle playbooks.
  • Investigate operational and customer issues, conduct root cause analysis, and support resolution efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Channel Operations to enhance reporting tools and broker experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume transaction processing, billing, sales operations, or operations analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with concentration in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Exposure to retail energy, utilities, or deregulated energy markets preferred.
  • Experience with CRM or commission platforms such as SAP, Siebel, or similar systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate financial and operational reports.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, automation, or systems implementation initiatives preferred.
