Overview
The Business Development Sales Associate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys networking, and has a keen eye for spotting market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect & Lead Generation: Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, door-to-door outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Market Research & Marketing Support: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to identify new growth opportunities. Assist in marketing campaigns, community outreach, and promotional activities.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies, enhance customer experience, and support lead generation initiatives.
- Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or a related role.
- Experience with door-to-door sales or direct client outreach preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, lead generation strategies, and community-based marketing initiatives.
