Job Summary

White Oak Music Hall (WOMH) is seeking a charismatic, organized, and versatile Digital Media Buyer Coordinator who is passionate about promotion of the venue, its concerts, and private events. This role will assistant in a variety of marketing functions which includes, but is not limited to, ad buying across a variety of digital channels, basic graphic design and other related tasks as needed. The individual in this role must possess great energy, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills. He/she must excel in a very fast-paced environment, be able to manage and prioritize a high volume of time-sensitive work organized around overlapping deadlines, and be comfortable working outside of traditional business hours for all events taking place within the venue.

Location: Houston, TX (although remote day-to-day)

Status: Part-time, Hourly

Show Marketing

  • Be an expert in the use of Toneden and similar platforms which aid in digital ad buying
  • Understand thoroughly in practical application how to use each platform to set up ads, budgets, creative, and targeting, as well as generate, understand, and interpret performance and analytics, in order to either make adjustments to current or future digital ad campaign outcomes, or to report/make recommendations to the Marketing Team.
  • Ingest and understand direction from the Marketing Team, including prioritization of campaigns, and inputs for campaigns including dates, budgets, targeting, creative options, etc.
  • Develop, distribute and implement show, venue, and private events digital ad buying including planning and executing campaigns, communicating to key stakeholders within the organization, managing timelines and budgets, and reporting, including, but not limited to:

Create and manage ads on Meta and Instagram

Create and manage ads on the Google platform (search, display, YouTube) and Analytics.

Create and Manage ads on Spotify

Create and Manage ads on Tik Tok

Create and Manage paid campaigns on Bandsintown

  • Assist with or otherwise wholly execute basic graphic design and creative needs to support promotional efforts, e.g. as various digital platforms require ad content to be created within their platforms.
  • Assist with or wholly manage the creation and sending of email campaigns pertaining to the announcement or promotion of concerts and various private events.
  • Assist with or wholly manage the creation of email subscriber campaigns.
  • Assist with or wholly manage digital or email campaigns which combine elements of paid digital ad marketing with promotional or contesting elements.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience in the music/ live events industry
  • Must have knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Spotify, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills: must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to learn required business systems.
  • Knowledge of graphic design systems: Adobe, Photoshop, illustrator, etc.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently
  • Must have outstanding customerservice and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of music industry preferred
  • Due to nature of business will be required to work select nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Previous venue and ticketing experience preferred
  • Must have the ability to maintain an impeccable professional appearance
  • Must possess a strong ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined

  • Must have good decision-making skills,solid judgment and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Must be flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole

Reporting Process

  • Reporting will be to the WOMH Sr. Marketing Manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
