Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in the media landscape, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Public Relations Manager to join their team in Houston, Texas . This role is crucial in shaping and maintaining the company's public image and reputation across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies, managing media relations, crafting compelling press releases and communication materials, and overseeing crisis communications. You will be responsible for identifying key media opportunities, building strong relationships with journalists and influencers, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from our Houston office, fostering collaboration and in-person strategic planning. Responsibilities include monitoring media coverage, analyzing campaign effectiveness, and providing insightful reports to senior leadership. You will also play a key role in developing corporate messaging, managing executive communications, and coordinating internal communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent storytelling abilities, and a proven ability to navigate complex media environments. A deep understanding of current media trends, social media strategy, and digital PR is essential. You will be a proactive communicator, a strategic thinker, and a natural leader, capable of inspiring confidence and achieving impactful results.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials. Manage media inquiries and serve as a company spokesperson when required. Develop and execute crisis communication plans. Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign performance. Advise senior leadership on communication strategies and public perception. Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure integrated messaging. Oversee social media PR efforts and digital communications. Mentor and guide junior PR team members.
