Applicants must be open to working on weekends and holidays as needed.Start Pay: $33.15/hr, plus shift differentialSummary: Primarily responsible for a fixed per hour throughput in the molding/cooking/chilling/demolding/handling line by coordinating with the operator upstream to guarantee availability of the equipment in time and proper equipment scheduling on a day to day basis.Functions:To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety cultureReceive training as requiredPerform other duties/positions as required/assignedEssential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Read the daily schedule and coordinate with the supervisor to determine batch sequence.Start up the Multimolds loading cycle with the correct Multimolds and verification of the process order information of the incoming product and perform routine inspections.Coordinate with the operators upstream to guarantee proper batches are being processed and scheduled.Coordinate with operators downstream to guarantee availability of empty combos and their removal to guarantee line through put and passing the SKU information in order to guarantee traceability.Operate a conveyer system while transferring batches to cook or chill tanks.Develop skills and know how on actions to be taken in case of thermal treatment error identified by the supervision software.Observe system function from a mechanical standpoint visually and interact with maintenance should something be observed and need mechanical or electrical intervention.Troubleshoot the handling system when stopped by identifying through the supervision software and knowhow of the location of the sensors while the system is idle.Interact when needed with the Armor Inox Automation team during the service visits to summarize observations and possible improvements to the system.Startup of the cooking and chilling cycle on the Thermix Supervision PC and monitor complete process plus cook/chill sequence.Ability to properly place and remove a core temp probe from a sample log and from chilled product during tank unloading.Verify proper inventory of chemicals needed to wash the Multimolds and suction cups.Enter all required information into the Safety Chain QA System and SAP.Will be required to communicate with Maintenance personnel for mechanical intervention and with the cleaning team to facilitate equipment follow up and daily start up. Interact with incoming Thermix Operator during shift change for pass down discussion. Document CCP information.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Be able to set-up and teardown equipment.Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor daily.Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.Perform sanitation duties once a week.Requirements:Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to two years experience and/or training in: cookhouse operator, basic mechanical and electrical aptitude understanding to help identify and diagnose issues and basic technological and product know how to help optimize product performance (yield); or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills: Ability to operate equipment using a touch screen, keyboard or mouse. SAP and Plant View experience is preferred.Mathematical Skills: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.Certifications, Licenses, Registration: Must be able to obtain a HACCP certification.Safety Chain/Plant View experience preferred.Ability to operate equipment using a touch screen.TM is not permitted to lateral bid for 6 months unless to a higher level job.Will be under a 2-week qualification period if supervisor disqualifies TM then TM will return back to previous position.TM has 2 weeks to notify HR from the date they physically start new position to disqualify themselves if so, they will return to previous position.TM understands if they do self-disqualify to not continue in the awarded position, they will not be allowed to bid for 6 months.Position Specific Requirements:Must reside in the United States to be considered.Sponsorship is not available for this position.Additional Internal Requirements:Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)No written warning in the past six (6) monthsNo suspension on record for the last 12 monthsThis position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
