Retail Sales Associate – Outdoor Grills & Outdoor Kitchens

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate specializing in Outdoor Grills & Outdoor Kitchens. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus, as well as familiarity with merchandising, product demos, and POS systems. Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting outdoor grills and kitchens by providing detailed product information and demonstrations
Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Upsell products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person
Support inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization of products on the sales floor
Supervise or assist in supervising team members when applicable, ensuring smooth store operations
Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of outdoor living products
Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store or specialty outdoor retail environment
Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (preferred)
Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
Demonstrated ability in upselling, merchandising, stocking, and customer service excellence
Supervising experience is a plus but not required
Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
Knowledge of outdoor grills, outdoor kitchens, or related products is advantageous but not mandatory
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
