Sales Associate – Business Development (Hunter Role)

We’re looking for a driven, hunter-minded Sales Associate to fuel our expansion across Texas. This is a business development role designed for someone early in their sales career who is relentlessly competitive, fearless in outreach, and hungry to close deals.

A background in cybersecurity, IT, or technical staffing is required! You must understand the space well enough to engage technical buyers and clearly position our value.

You will build and manage a pipeline, open new doors, support account growth, and drive the full sales cycle from first contact to close. You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders and recruiting teams to deliver highly skilled, job-ready cyber talent to our clients.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation & Hunting

  • Identify and research prospects across enterprise, mid-market, and high-growth tech companies.
  • Drive proactive outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and follow-ups.
  • Own business development motions: generating leads, securing meetings, preparing materials, and advancing deals.
  • Run full sales cycle activities including capability meetings, proposal coordination, and closing new logos.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline and strong forecasting discipline.

Client Engagement

  • Join senior team members on prospect and client meetings.
  • Capture notes, document next steps, and ensure clear follow-through.
  • Understand client pain points and confidently position NukuDo as the solution.
  • Support relationship-building with hiring managers, HR leaders, CISOs, and technical teams.

Market & Event Support

  • Assist with regional conferences, networking events, and industry meetups.
  • Prepare event materials and lead follow-up outreach to convert conversations into opportunities.
  • Share market insights and competitor observations with the team.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with recruiting to ensure candidate profiles align with client expectations.
  • Support marketing with targeted outreach campaigns and lead-nurture efforts.
  • Assist with creation of proposals, decks, and client-facing materials.

What Success Looks Like

  • High-volume, consistent outreach activity.
  • A healthy, well-managed pipeline with qualified opportunities.
  • Strong coordination with sales, recruiting, and marketing teams.
  • Contribution to new logo acquisition and account expansion.
  • Clear momentum toward monthly and quarterly sales goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in sales or business development, ideally in cybersecurity, IT, or technical staffing.
  • A true hunter mentality, competitive, persistent, and motivated by closing.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up discipline.
  • Comfortable with outreach, building pipeline, and running early-stage sales cycles.
  • Interest in cybersecurity, staffing, or workforce development.
  • Coachable, curious, and ready to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
