Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies across various channels
  • Lead social media efforts including content creation community management and analytics
  • Craft compelling campaign messaging to support organizational goals
  • Manage and enhance Govunis public image through strategic PR initiatives
  • Increase stakeholder engagement through targeted outreach programs
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials including brochures presentations and digital content
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to optimize campaign performance
  • Manage relationships with external vendors agencies and media outlets
  • Develop and maintain crisis communication plans
  • Coordinate and execute events to promote Govunis mission and initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing and communications professionals
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets
  • Report on marketing and communications activities to senior leadership

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in marketing or PR with a focus on political or social advocacy
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences
  • Expertise in social media management and analytics
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Masters degree in Marketing Communications or a related field
  • Experience working in government or nonprofit organizations
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices
  • Experience with public speaking and media relations
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities
