We are looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Houston and help us expand our client base.

Position Overview

As a Sales & Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role combines in-person client visits, networking, and follow-up with leads, along with CRM management and marketing outreach. You will be the face of our agency, connecting decision-makers to staffing solutions and ensuring clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities by visiting local businesses and connecting with decision-makers.
  • Make outbound calls to leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into clients.
  • Negotiate service agreements and staffing markup rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Attend networking events, career fairs, and industry conferences to promote the agency.
  • Collaborate with marketing on social media advertising and lead generation campaigns.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and communication with clients post-sale.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or related fields; staffing industry experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable connecting with business decision-makers in-person and over the phone.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites as needed.
