The Opportunity

You will teach a variety of courses to diverse student populations, using innovative methodologies and technologies to enhance student learning. You will also provide academic advising, professional development, and institutional service.

Teaching: Develop and use course syllabi, teach at multiple sites, and utilize technology to support instruction.

Academic Advising: Maintain relationships with students, colleagues, and the community, providing access through posted office hours and electronic communication.

Professional Development: Establish annual objectives, keep pace with discipline developments, and learn technologies that support student learning.

Institutional and Community Service: Participate in institutional service activities, discipline committees, and department meetings, while being familiar with HCCS policies and procedures.
