Lanteris Space Systems is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to serve as a technical expert within our Data Analytics and Automation (DAAT) team. This role can be based remotely US.  In this role, you will provide technical expertise and serve as a subject matter expert, working independently on complex projects while mentoring junior team members. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analytics solutions, driving process automation, and serving as a technical resource for stakeholders across the enterprise. This role requires expert-level proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Requirements Gathering: Work directly with Finance, Accounting, and other business stakeholders to understand analytics needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design analytics approaches that address business problems and deliver actionable insights.
  • Presentation & Communication: Present findings, dashboards, and automated solutions to stakeholders, clearly explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Relationship Building: Develop trusted partnerships with business users to understand their evolving needs and demonstrate value of analytics solutions.

Technical Delivery & Architecture:

  • Workflow & Dashboard Design: Design and build complex Alteryx workflows and Tableau dashboards that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
  • Process Automation: Transform manual, repetitive processes into automated solutions, implementing best practices in data governance and quality assurance.
  • Technical Standards: Apply and champion design standards, coding conventions, and quality benchmarks in all analytics deliverables.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving: Tackle the team's most complex technical challenges, developing innovative solutions for difficult data and analytics problems.

Project Execution & Quality:

  • SAP Data Validation & Migration: Execute data validation activities for the SAP cloning migration, ensuring table parity and transactional financial data accuracy.
  • Financial Analytics (P&L): Develop and refine complex P&L reporting structures and automated financial modeling solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet enterprise standards through thorough testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Independent Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of assigned analytics projects, working autonomously while keeping management informed of progress and risks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Bachelor’s degree, four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analytics
  • Experience delivering large-scale data projects or enterprise-level automation initiatives
  • Extensive experience working with Finance and Accounting data structures
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to business stakeholders and management
  • 3 years of experience working in Alteryx

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Alteryx: Expert-level proficiency; advanced mastery of Alteryx Designer, building complex macros, and working with Alteryx Server environments (scheduling, troubleshooting, and credential management).
  • Tableau: Expert capability in Tableau; specialized in troubleshooting complex technical issues and designing advanced visualizations.
  • Systems & ERP: Demonstrated experience working with SAP environments and a solid understanding of ERP data structures.
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving projects to successful completion
  • Comfortable being a technical authority and subject matter expert
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Results-oriented with focus on delivering measurable business impact
  • Adaptability and composure in fast-paced, evolving environments

In support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $76,000.00 - $126,000.00 annually.

● The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $76,000.00 - $126,000.00 annually.

● The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $76,000.00 - $126,000.00 annually.

 

 

● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $83,000.00 - $139,000.00 annually.

● The base pay for this position within California is: $87,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
