General Manager of Sales – Residential Roofing

We are a well-established residential roofing company in Houston seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager of Sales to lead and grow our residential roofing division. This role is ideal for a proven roofing sales leader with strong residential experience who thrives in both the field and the office.

Role Overview

The General Manager of Sales will be responsible for driving residential roofing revenue, recruiting, training and developing sales representatives, and ensuring a consistent, ethical, and customer-focused sales operation. This position requires active field involvement, sales coaching, and leadership by example.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow the residential roofing sales division to meet revenue and performance goals

Develop and execute sales strategies focused on storm restoration and residential roofing

Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives

Conduct in-office sales training 1–2 days per week

Spend significant time in the field supporting inspections, appointments, door-to-door sales, and closings

Monitor sales performance and provide ongoing feedback

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential roofing sales and storm restoration

Prior experience managing, training, or leading sales teams

Strong understanding of insurance claims related to storm damage

Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills

Houston based candidates are preferred

Compensation

$65K-$75K base salary (doe) plus bonus, commissions and benefits.
