Job Title: Water / Wastewater Professional Engineer (PE)

Location: Houston, Texas

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 + Benefits

Company Overview

Our client is a leading engineering contractor delivering critical infrastructure and water resource projects across Texas. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a licensed Water / Wastewater Professional Engineer (PE) to join their expanding Houston team.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Texas. You will play a key role in engineering design, project management, and client engagement while contributing to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop water and wastewater infrastructure systems
• Lead engineering analysis, modelling and design calculations
• Prepare technical reports, plans, specifications and cost estimates
• Manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables
• Provide technical oversight to junior engineers and designers
• Coordinate with municipal clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams
• Review and approve engineering designs as a licensed PE

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 5–10+ years of water / wastewater engineering experience
• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and design standards
• Excellent communication and project management skills
