Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic - Mobile Field Service

Houston, TX Up to $40/hr

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics for positions servicing industrial equipment and commercial vehicles throughout the Houston area. This is a mobile field service position requiring travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diesel-powered and gasoline-powered equipment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Must be flexible to work additional hours and weekends as needed.

Pay: Up to $40/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, hydraulic cranes, drilling rig engines, forklifts, and mud pumps.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot engine performance, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and necessary equipment repairs.
• Travel throughout the Houston area to service equipment at customer locations.
• Work independently to diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience repairing diesel engines and heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple types of equipment and vehicles.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
• Must be comfortable traveling throughout the Houston area to customer sites.
• Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends when needed.
• Must be able to work independently in a mobile field service environment.
• Personal mechanic tools are preferred but not required.
