Role Overview: 

We are looking for a diligent Accountant Level III to join our accounting department. The Accountant Level III responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. You will also be assisting the accounting manager as needed and responding to information requests by management and for auditing purposes. 

To be successful as Accountant Level III, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). An outstanding staff accountant should also have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Verify, allocate, code, post and reconcile banking and credit card transactions. 
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results 
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status 
  • Spot errors and make appropriate corrections to financials 
  • Create reconciliation within entries utilizing intercompany accounts 
  • Provide technical support with regards to accounting systems and banking portals 
  • Have sole responsibility over full cycle accounting for specific locations 
  • Collect all necessary documentation to support transaction 
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles 
  • Guide other accountant levels by reviewing completed adjusting entries and trend reports 

  

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. 
  • 5+ years of accounting experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Working knowledge of GAAP. 
  • Intercompany experience. 
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills. 
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills. 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 / annum
