Route Sales Representative (Bi-Lingual Preferred)

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative, preferably bilingual, to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing daily sales routes, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of our products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, sales experience, and the ability to handle physical demands such as heavy lifting. Prior military experience is a plus, as it demonstrates discipline and organizational skills essential for success in this position. Duties
- Manage daily route driving to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication
- Conduct product merchandising and ensure proper display on customer premises
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle pricing adjustments and accurately process transactions
- Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading products
- Maintain organized records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and safety compliance during route driving
- Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to support business growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, merchandising, or customer service roles
- Strong driving skills with a valid commercial driver’s license preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with bilingual abilities considered a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and accurately record data
- Basic math skills for pricing, transactions, and inventory management
- Knowledge of route driving logistics and route planning techniques
- Experience in upselling products or services to customers
- Military background is advantageous due to demonstrated discipline and organizational capabilities
