Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to launch our marketing team. In this role, you will develop and implement effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background in social media marketing, content creation, and analytics, with a keen eye for design and branding.
Job Type: Full-time | Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year | Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77027
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content that resonates with target audiences while aligning with brand messaging.
- Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and feedback using social listening tools.
- Analyze performance metrics with tools like Google Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Manage social media advertising efforts, including Facebook Advertising, to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure high-quality proofreading of all content.
- Foster relationships with influencers and other brands to enhance public relations efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer.
- Strong skills in graphic design, content creation, photography, video editing, and branding.
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles including relationship management and public relations strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor's degree (Required).
- Spanish language proficiency (Required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce environments is a plus.
