Part-Time Marketing Specialist - Grouting

Grouting Company is seeking a highly organized and creative Part-Time Marketing Specialist - Grouting to boost brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and support business development efforts within the Houston, Texas, construction and engineering community. This role will primarily focus on digital content, social media presence, and organizing collateral for proposals.

Location: Houston, TX (77064) Hours: Approx. 15-20 hours per week Pay: $21 $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management: Develop engaging, industry-specific content (blog posts, case studies, project spotlights) to educate the target audience on the benefits of specialized grouting services.
  • Digital Presence: Oversee the company website content (WordPress or similar CMS) and work with the developer to optimize site performance for local search (SEO) related to grouting, concrete repair, soil densification, and concrete lifting.
  • Social Media: Plan, create, and schedule regular content for professional social media channels (primarily LinkedIn and potentially Facebook/Instagram) to engage general contractors, engineers, and property managers.
  • Collateral & Proposal Support: Organize, maintain, and update key marketing assets, including company resumes, project photos, client testimonials, and boilerplate content used in Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and proposals.
  • Email Marketing: Assist in creating and deploying targeted email campaigns to our CRM list to announce new projects, services, and company news.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all external communications, materials, and digital properties adhere to the Superior Grouting brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Marketing, Communications, or Business Development support role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience or a strong working knowledge of the construction, engineering, or A/E/C (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry is a significant plus.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO basics).
  • Experience managing and creating content for professional social platforms (especially LinkedIn).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe InDesign) for creating simple visual assets.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
