NCS Communications Strategist II/III

Responsible for a broad range of communication initiatives for the Office of Public Engagement, Public Affairs and External Relations Office at the NASA Johnson Space Center

• Build relationships with NASA stakeholders and provide communication support for the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program
• Handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under tight timelines and changing priorities and conditions
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks
• Work under general supervision; typically reports to a Team Lead or Supervisor

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, multimedia, communications, or other appropriate area of specialization from an
• accredited college or university
• Must have 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in oral and written communications, including writing and editing
• Proficient in AP style
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements
