The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is launching the Institutional AI Literacy Enablement Team (IAILET), an institution-wide initiative responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering the workforce learning and development strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through collaboration with stakeholders across education, technology, and workforce development, IAILET supports the safe, responsible, and effective adoption of AI tools across the organization. The Associate Leadership Practitioner plays a critical role in supporting the operations, coordination, and growth of IAILET programming. The Associate Leadership Practitioner will collaborate with subject matter experts, educational partners, and institutional stakeholders to help expand AI literacy and learning opportunities across the workforce.

UT MD Anderson is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. Reporting through the Leadership Institute, the Associate Leadership Practitioner will work closely with colleagues in Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI), the Division of Education & Training, Nursing Education, and other workforce development teams to develop, coordinate, and scale AI-related learning experiences. The Associate Leadership Practitioner will support learner engagement, educational resource management, event coordination, and training operations while periodically working onsite to support institutional activities and learning events.

The ideal candidate brings a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, with experience supporting technology-related learning initiatives, workforce development programs, digital transformation efforts, or educational operations. Successful candidates demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote responsible AI adoption and innovative learning solutions.

Experience evaluating AI learning resources, coordinating educational programs, supporting learner engagement, and facilitating learning events is highly desirable. Education, experience, licenses, and certifications should align with the requirements listed below.

Minimum $44.47/hour - Midpoint $55.53/hour - Maximum $66.59/hour

Hybrid Position with onsite presence required to support events.

Responsibilities

Program Operations & Administration

  • Coordinate IAILET activities, timelines, deliverables, communications, and operational processes
  • • Establish learner enrollment, communication, completion tracking, and reporting processes for AI-related educational activities
  • • Monitor program operations and identify operational challenges, risks, and resource needs
  • • Escalate issues, risks, and resource concerns to the IAILET Program Manager for resolution
  • • Support planning, launch, execution, and scaling of AI learning and development initiatives

Educational Content & Resource Coordination

  • • Assist with selection, procurement, coordination, organization, and distribution of AI-related educational content and curriculum materials
  • • Coordinate learning resources from internal and external sources
  • • Support administrative activities involving vendors, educational partners, and service providers
  • • Maintain access to educational materials and learning resources for workforce development programs

Stakeholder Engagement & Program Improvement

  • Collect stakeholder feedback to support learner engagement and continuous improvement efforts
  • • Assist with comprehensive reviews of training programs, reporting methods, controls, and decision-making processes
  • • Support evaluation of training effectiveness and adoption of best practices
  • • Contribute to reporting activities related to AI learning initiatives and workforce participation

AI Learning Network & Event Coordination

  • Support administration of the Institutional AI Learning Network
  • • Maintain membership rosters, communication channels, and resource libraries
  • • Coordinate learner events, presentations, information-sharing forums, and knowledge-sharing activities
  • • Facilitate learning events and educational sessions as needed
  • • Support onsite activities associated with workforce education and engagement initiatives

Course Development & Learning Support

  • Assist with development of course materials supporting AI learning across the institution
  • • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to support learning initiatives
  • • Promote responsible use and adoption of AI-enabled learning solutions
  • • Support workforce adoption of AI tools and related technologies
  • Willingness to facilitate learning events and educational activities as needed and ability to periodically work onsite to support program activities, events, and operational needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education

  • Required: Master's Degree Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field. or Required: Bachelor's Degree May substitute the Master's degree with two additional years of demonstrated MD Anderson experience in a role where training or coaching was the primary job function
  • Preferred: PhD Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field.

Work Experience

  • Required: 3 years Related experience. Preferred: Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, demonstrated ability to champion AI-enabled learning solutions, ability to support workforce adoption of AI tools, ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, commitment to promoting responsible AI use, curiosity, adaptability, and passion for leveraging AI to improve learning experiences, operational effectiveness, and organizational outcomes

Licenses and Certifications

  • Preferred: Licensed Psychologist Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas.
  • Upon Hire
  • Preferred: Certified Executive Coach. Upon Hire
