Sales Tech / Sales Technical Specialist (B2B)

Job Overview
The Sales Tech plays a critical role in supporting our B2B Sales team by providing technical expertise throughout the pre-sales and onboarding process. This position acts as the bridge between Sales, Technical Support, and Operations, ensuring solutions are accurately scoped, clearly explained, and successfully delivered to customers—primarily in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Technical Demos
- Conduct technical product demonstrations for prospective customers, partners, and distributors
- Support Sales during discovery calls by answering technical questions and validating solution feasibility
Requirements Analysis
- Analyze customer business operations and technical environments
- Gather and document requirements to recommend appropriate POS, hardware, and payment solutions
Sales Team Technical Support
- Serve as the primary technical resource for Sales Representatives
- Review sales documentation for technical accuracy and feasibility
Pre-Sales Consulting
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle
- Recommend system configurations, hardware, and integrations
Training & Enablement
- Provide training to customers and distributors on products and best practices
- Assist with onboarding preparation and go-live readiness
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Onboarding, and Support teams
- Escalate advanced technical issues as needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales support, sales engineering, or technical consulting
- Strong understanding of POS systems, payment processing, and related hardware
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Restaurant or hospitality industry experience
- Experience with POS systems or payment processing
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish(preferred)
- Experience supporting distributors or channel partners
