Operations Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will oversee warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient distribution. You will lead a team, schedule work, and maintain quality while aligning with company safety and continuous improvement goals. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize processes and support inventory control and outbound shipping. Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost-effective department performance
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality, neatness, and policy adherence
• Schedule inventories and oversee accurate outbound shipping
• Issue instructions and ensure accountability according to SOPs
• Maintain harmony among associates and resolve grievances
• Manage employee time and perform coaching, including performance evaluations
• Monitor receiving zoning and product database development during receiving
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and standard works
• Assist in Safety Program and Safety Committee activities
• Contribute to process development and improvements
• Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned by General Manager

Key requirements

• Bachelor or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years warehousing/distribution experience
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience
• PC and Microsoft Office skills
