Fri- Sun NIGHT SHIFT Operations Specialist

The Inbound Specialist will be responsible for managing the destination side of ground shipments from origin departure through confirmed delivery and final file closeout. This person will monitor shipments in transit, maintain accurate delivery ETAs, coordinate with carriers and receiving warehouses, and ensure shipment milestones remain current across transportation management systems. Upon delivery, they will obtain and audit signed proof of delivery documentation, resolve discrepancies between shipment records and what was actually delivered, and ensure all documentation is accurately uploaded before the file moves forward. The Inbound Specialist will also reconcile final transportation costs and revenue, verify accessorial charges, and ensure each shipment file is complete and accurate before releasing it to the billing team. This role requires someone who is highly detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple active shipments, identify delivery or security exceptions, and communicate effectively with carriers and internal operations teams in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Compensation

$60,000 - 68,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
