The Business Analyst provides critical administrative and operational support in the areas of contract administration, credit, settlement, treasury, finance, and office administration. This role requires someone who can balance routine administrative responsibilities with time-sensitive financial and operational activities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with confidential financial information. This individual must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and effectively coordinate with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities – Contracts
· Set-up all new customers in Salesforce accurately and in a timely manner using purchase confirmations and transportation letters from the commercial team.
· Assist with monthly contracts including new and existing contracts. Coordinate with internal teams and customers for preparing, routing, and maintaining contract status for execution.
· Maintain organized electronic records in the appropriate locations. Reconcile information to ensure accurate data is entered into Salesforce.
· Ensure that all contract changes are updated by the commercial team and information is uploaded into the accounting system timely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities – Treasury
· Assist with new customer onboarding including maintaining W9 and banking information. This includes setting up all ACH and wire templates.
· Facilitate and manage existing and new Parent Company Guarantees.
· Assist with the preparation, coordination, and management of netting agreements.
· Assist with day-to-day Treasury and related project needs.
· Analyze Banking and Treasury fees across all company bank accounts to assist with identifying improved efficiencies.
· Calculate and issue all Letters of Credit (LCs) on a monthly basis.
· Reconcile contract information with Borrowing Base calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Assist with credit forecasting activities, including pulling monthly volume information from the settlement team.
· Assist with commercial insurance renewals and requests as needed and maintain organized records of applicable insurance documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
· Four-year college degree required.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, customers, and financial processes simultaneously.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to communicate professionally with customers, banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
· Experience with Salesforce, Pak Energy, Sage and other CRM systems is a plus.
· Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
· Comfortable handling confidential customer, banking, and financial information.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to follow established financial controls and procedures, particularly when handling banking instructions and payment information.
· Strong follow-through with the ability to proactively track outstanding items and meet deadlines.
· Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus, but not necessary.
