Role Overview

We’re hiring a Sales Executive to drive new business for our MSP. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing small to mid-market business clients that need reliable IT support, security, cloud services, ongoing managed solutions, structured cabling, surveillance, VoIP, and Internet Services.

You’ll be selling recurring services with real value, long sales cycles, and real clients — owners, executives, and decision-makers.

If you can explain IT clearly, build trust, and close deals without sounding like a used-car salesman, you’ll do well here.

What You’ll Be Selling

  • Managed IT Services (MSP agreements)
  • Microsoft 365 & cloud services
  • Cybersecurity solutions (MFA, endpoint security, backups)
  • VOIP & business communications
  • Projects (onboarding, migrations, upgrades)
  • Network Cabling and Implementation
  • Audio and Visual Systems

Most deals are monthly recurring revenue (MRR) with additional project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities
  • Meet with business owners and decision-makers (virtual & in-person)
  • Understand client pain points and propose MSP solutions
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline in our CRM
  • Coordinate with technical teams for scoping and onboarding
  • Close new managed service agreements
  • Maintain accurate notes, forecasts, and activity tracking
  • Follow up — consistently and professionally

  • Consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Closed recurring revenue deals
  • Clean handoffs to operations
  • Long-term client relationships (not churn-and-burn sales)

Required Skills & Experience

  • B2B sales experience (technology or services preferred)
  • Comfortable selling monthly recurring services
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in plain English
  • Organized, disciplined, and self-driven
  • CRM experience
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

  • MSP or IT services sales experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, or VOIP
  • Experience selling to SMBs (10–200 users)
  • Existing local business relationships

Compensation

  • First Year Target 50k+
  • Base salary + commission
  • Commission paid on closed MRR
  • Performance-based growth opportunities
