JOB SUMMARY
Supervises the daily warehouse receiving and distribution operations and staff to ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution of materials, supplies, equipment, instructional resources, and correspondence in support of all divisions, district campuses, and departments. Develops, implements, and maintains standardized procedures for receiving, stocking, distribution, interoffice mail, and incoming and outgoing mail services. Ensures timely and accurate handling of campus and departmental deliveries, resolves discrepancies, and maintains compliance with district policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Oversees warehouse management systems and supports all Business Logistics warehouse operations, ensuring proper tracking, accountability, and workflow for district assets and materials. Collaborates with campus and department staff to support operational needs, districtwide distribution, and mail requirements. Promotes a culture of safety, efficiency, accountability, and customer service while ensuring high service standards, cost-effective operations, and continuous improvement across all warehouse and mail functions.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervises warehouse staff and daily operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution of materials, supplies, equipment, and instructional resources in support of district campuses and departments.
2. Oversees inbound and outbound logistics, including verification of shipments, resolution of discrepancies, coordination with vendors and carriers, and compliance with district policies and safety standards.
3. Monitors inventory levels, conducts audits, and utilizes warehouse management and systems to maintain accurate records and optimize stock availability for operational and instructional needs.
4. Ensures proper handling, storage, and tracking of all assets and materials, maintaining compliance with district policies and applicable safety and regulatory standards.
5. Manages interoffice and other mail services, including sorting, distribution, and coordination of outgoing mail to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

6. Leads efforts to improve warehouse workflow, inventory accuracy, and mail operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements.
7. Provides training, guidance, and performance management for warehouse staff to promote safety, accountability, customer service, and professional development.
8. Maintains comprehensive records of shipments and operational procedures to support reporting, audits, and operational transparency.
9. Participates in district initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional efforts as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic goals of the Business Logistics and Purchasing Department.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Ability to carry and/or lift less than 45 pounds.
