Summary

We are seeking a full time motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Home Source Furniture. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service while showcasing our unique furniture collection. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for quality and style in home furnishings. Compensation is hourly plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos.
• Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inventory levels by restocking merchandise and maintaining organized displays.
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, fostering long-term relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement.
• Ability to demonstrate products effectively and engage customers in conversation.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
