Supply Chain and Vendor Management Specialist

Harmer is actively engaged in a new search for our construction client located in Tomball for a Supply Chain and Vendor Management Specialist. This is an exciting, newly created role to help centralize and build out the company’s supplier, vendor and subcontractor management function. The goal is to create stronger ownership, accountability and follow-through across processes currently handled by Field Operations, Accounting and other internal teams.

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, vendor management, contracts, purchasing, AP/vendor administration, compliance or project administration
• Strong ownership, organization and follow-through; able to track documents, approvals, expirations and open items through completion
• Experience with vendor/business documentation including MSAs, COIs, W-9s, credit applications, payment terms and vendor setup
• Strong Excel/Microsoft skills; ERP, procurement, accounting or vendor-management systems experience helpful
• Growth-minded candidate who can help improve processes and eventually take on broader vendor, procurement, contract and compliance responsibilities
