Part of a global team trading in a wide range of steel products is currently seeking a Outside Sales Representative in their Houston, TX office.

A metal solutions provider not only to companies worldwide, but also right next door. They offer value-added steel and aluminum solutions to customers in the automotive, construction, appliance, food, medical, and aerospace industries, just to name a few.

Responsibilities include

  • Developing new business opportunities, providing quotes to customers and securing orders.
  • Assisting in maintaining current customer relationships.
  • Reviewing and negotiating settlement of claims/collections for assigned accounts.
  • Monitoring customer credit limits and inventory levels.
  • Coordinating logistic issues by communicating with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers in order to fulfill requests.
  • Working with staff members engaged in providing sales/client support, i.e. invoices, purchase orders and import/export documentation and monitoring credit limits.
  • Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree along with 7- 10 years relevant experience. Steel experience required. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, detail orientation and computer literacy are a must.
