Overview

As a Project Purchasing Manager, you drive material management for EPFC projects, guiding procurement from requisition through close-out. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project schedules. Your role focuses on optimizing purchasing processes, supplier engagement, and field material management to support project success. This position offers impact across projects and potential leadership responsibilities in material management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning and execute material management activities (procurement, expediting, logistics, inspection, field material management) as needed
• Oversee procurement work processes and report status of purchased material from order to use
• Develop and assign purchasing and material management activities from requisition to close-out, including RFQ/Proposal packaging
• Implement and monitor Material Management Work Process using the Corporate Reference Tool to meet project requirements and schedule
• Perform supervisory duties as appropriate
• Generate RFQ/POs in the approved material management reference system for project, estimate, or proposal work
• Handle other duties as assigned

Key requirements

• Accredited four-year degree in a relevant field and ten years of related experience, or fourteen years if non-degreed
• Effective communication with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
• Job-related technical knowledge to complete the role
• Ability to learn and apply applicable statutes and guidelines
