Position: Marketing Intern

Time frame: Spring 2026 (02/25/26 – 05/01/26)

Fairchild Sports Performance, the most trusted name in athletic development, is offering an unparalleled academic internship experience. We are accepting applications for the following internship semester:

Spring 2026 Tuesday, February 25th, 2026 – Friday, May 1st, 2026

(~15 hours/week • In-office • Mandatory attendance required for three (3) event dates)

This internship is designed to serve as a high-level academic and professional experience for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing marketing, business, communications, or related degrees. Interns will engage in meaningful, structured work that supports marketing efforts across our performance training, fitness, and specialized recovery programming. The program is hands-on and project-driven, with two larger strategic assignments, weekly curriculum-based tasks, and structured professional development.

Interns will conduct market research, participate in campaign planning, and support brand execution within a dynamic, high-performance environment. The Internship Mentor will oversee a curriculum that includes weekly assignments, two long-form projects, professional development sessions, and a mid-term evaluation designed to prepare interns for competitive roles in marketing and strategy.

This Marketing Internship offers academic credit, monetary compensation ($250 semester stipend), and robust professional development opportunities. It is ideal for students seeking substantial experience in marketing strategy, consumer insights, project management, and brand communication within a specialized performance setting. Prior marketing or communications experience is preferred, as the internship requires initiative, analytical thinking, and the ability to complete advanced tasks with guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed market research and industry analysis
  • Assist with planning and outlining multi-step marketing campaigns
  • Support two major strategic projects assigned during the semester
  • Contribute to brand execution through content outlines, briefs, and asset organization
  • Gather, track, and summarize engagement or campaign performance metrics
  • Participate in on-site media capture as needed
  • Maintain organized digital assets, marketing files, and project calendars
  • Complete weekly assignments, professional development activities, and tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong interest in marketing, strategy, analytics, market research, or brand development
  • Prior experience in marketing, communications, or media is preferred
  • Availability for approximately 15 in-office hours per week from February 25th – May 1st
  • Attendance at three mandatory event dates (provided during the interview process)
  • Current or prior enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, business, communications, media, or a related field
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Prior experience or interest in spectator sports/health & wellness preferred
  • Intern must provide any specific academic requirements of their institution to FSP
