Pre-Construction Lead - Healthcare Construction Design Build Projects

Overview

In this role, you will lead project readiness from development to financial close, shaping the foundation for successful execution. You'll partner with IS Delivery and cross-functional teams to align scope, schedule, budget, risks, and procurement. You will drive risk assessment, due diligence, and early procurement planning to ensure a smooth handoff to Delivery. The position sits at the intersection of development and execution, enabling impactful energy infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

• Lead project readiness from development through financial close, including scope, schedule, budget, constructability, procurement strategy, and risk evaluation
• Develop milestone schedules, spend curves, and execution assumptions; facilitate Joint Readiness Certifications and executive risk reviews
• Conduct market, labor, regulatory, permitting, and contractor risk assessments; lead Trade Partner and Permitting Due Diligence
• Coordinate pre-close execution planning, early procurement, utility interconnection efforts, site assessments, and environmental reviews
• Prepare internal kickoff materials and execution readiness documentation; support development of the Project Execution Plan (PXP)
• Plan and facilitate Project Launch sessions and ensure knowledge transfer to Delivery; maintain risk and action item handoffs
• Collaborate with Development, Sustainability, Energy Analytics, Pre-Engineering, Pricing & Estimating, Legal, Financial Modeling, Supply Chain, Project Controls, and Delivery teams; influence decisions cross-functionally

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; 7+ years in preconstruction, estimating, construction management, project planning, or related disciplines
• Strong understanding of project delivery, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and construction execution
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
