$90,000–$160,000+ OTE | $50K Base + Uncapped Commission

Are you a consultative B2B sales professional who thrives on closing meaningful deals, building long-term client relationships, and selling solutions—not commodities?

Decatur Professional Development (DPD) is hiring a high-performing Sales Executive to work with industrial manufacturers that want to reach the engineers who specify their products. This is not transactional sales. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping clients use accredited engineering education to drive awareness, preference, and specification.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage relationships with marketing and business development leaders at industrial manufacturing firms
  • Convert inbound leads (calls, emails, web inquiries) into qualified opportunities
  • Conduct virtual sales meetings and demos that clearly communicate value and close deals
  • Proactively prospect using DPD-provided lists and your own targeted outreach
  • Own the sales cycle from first conversation through onboarding and renewal
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Accurately track activity, pipeline, and forecasts in our CRM

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently closing consultative, multi-month B2B deals
  • Building repeatable revenue through renewals and account expansion
  • Becoming a go-to partner for clients seeking engineer engagement and visibility

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of successful B2B consultative sales experience (professional services, industrial, technical, or SaaS strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to build trust, uncover needs, and close
  • Strong organization and follow-through—details matter here
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating with a small, high-performance team
  • Comfortable selling over video, phone, and email

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission
  • On-target earnings: $90,000–$160,000+
  • Commission on new sales, upsells, and annual renewals
  • Quarterly and annual profit-sharing bonuses (after 1 year)
  • Hybrid schedule (Houston area)
