Location: Southeast Houston, TX 77017 - near I-45 South (Gulf Freeway) and Winkler Drive

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Connect Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving / Forklift Operator for our client, a supplier of wire rope, slings, rigging hardware, and industrial lifting products.

This position supports daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, with an opportunity for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and move materials.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against shipping paperwork.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Report damaged products, missing items, or shipment discrepancies.
• Keep inventory and warehouse areas organized.
• Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties safely.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
