Creative Video Editor Intern

Citizens of the Internet is looking for a Hybrid Creative Video Editor Intern to join our media team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on real campaigns, photo shoots, and pop-up events, gaining experience in both social media content and cinematic storytelling.

Compensation: Unpaid internship (portfolio-building opportunity)

Location: Houston, TX

Commitment: 7–10 hours/week, January through May

What You’ll Do

• Edit videos for campaigns, social media reels, TikToks, and promotional content
• Help shape storytelling arcs and visual narratives for campaigns
• Assist on shoots as a videographer
• Work directly with the Creative Director to execute brand vision

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of video editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Desktop)
• Experience creating engaging, story-driven content
• Passion for storytelling and brand-building
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Portfolio or reel preferred (show us your best work)
