Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Intern to support our business development, marketing, and client engagement efforts. This role offers hands-on experience working with industry leaders, participating in client projects, and contributing to real-world marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and passionate about the energy and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing new client accounts and business opportunities
- Support relationship management with existing and prospective clients
- Participate in project management meetings and client update sessions
- Help coordinate and prepare client reports and presentations
- Support marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Assist with website and content updates
- Contribute to Allstream Insiders content and media projects
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams
- Develop and Manage Campaigns
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic familiarity with WordPress
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a flexible, fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in Oil & Gas, Energy, Data Centers, and Emerging Technology
Preferred Qualifications (Plus Skills)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar design tools
- Content creation experience (writing, social media, video, etc.)
- Podcasting or audio production experience
- Background in journalism or editorial writing
- Basic Understanding of digital marketing, SEO, &/or media publishing
